Scleroderma (Systemic Sclerosis) - Linda Leichman

For those of you who don't know what this disease is let me explain: It's a progressive auto immune disease. It can effect your heart lungs, kidneys, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines. You will also experience Raynaud's disease with a great deal of joint pain.

In 1989 I was finally diagnosed. I was put on a lot of medications. In 1990 I had a bilateral pneumothorax - both lungs collapsed. That led to a 38 day hospital stay, two major surgeries, and each lung stapled together with a tetracycline wash.

When I got on the Herbalife products I couldn't believe the difference in how I felt - I had energy, joint pain was gone, got off of 4 medications and lost 28lbs - awesome!

I'm now the director of The Scleroderma Long Island support group.
